Movie of new areas:
Copied and pasted from my news post, because i'm lazy:
For those waiting to get their first look at the newly announced areas, you can finally see a movie of them at the official site, here. When I made the Godzilla joke earlier, little did I know that I wasn't entirely off base - apparently one of these areas that has a monster that looks not unlike... Voltron.

Awesome, thanks for the link. I'll check it out now.
Are these new areas up to be released by update, or through an upcoming expansion?
Sorry if that's a bit of a newb question, I'm not completely up to date on things. ^^;;

Free updates that will be streamed in "this summer." Sadly, I have no idea of any specifics beyond what they're offering on the official site.

To quote my friends response the first time I took him into the catacombs to show him the sights;
"Holy Crap!"
looks like he'll get to say it again

This game really reminds me of Myst, or any other game with such beatiful environments and large, open backgrounds. I always stop and look over the edge to see that incredible scenery that stretches out to the horizon...
Absolutely amazing.

A kindred spirit!
That movie was breath taking. and a whole lot spooky LOL *with apologies to our administrator* ;-)
My favorite locations in presearing were and still are the catacombs. Nothing gave me the rush.. sense of forebodeing as in those areas. By far the best artwork in the prequil.
What is in that movie shows that they are delivering in a manner to keep the build up to the next expansion. Well done ArenaNet!

Awesome, can't wait for that zone. My favorite moments in Guild Wars are always when I arrive at an area and just have to stop and look at what I'm about to go face. Walking down the trail and coming to a dead end only to see where the path to your right leads, some gigantic forrest or huge mountain. It's just like "Woah...I'm going to have to go through that thing."
Really looking forward to it. Beautiful as always.

This looks awesome. I also think the views are spectacular. The detail in the grass and trees is incredible, especially verses online MMO games. My friend didn't believe how good the graphics were until he saw it for himself, and said he thought it was as good as Farcry. I consider that a complement!
BTW he just ordered his own copy.

Um...the part I want is where you push 5 different levers on a wall in the correct order and I *never* have to fight the big nasty thing breaking out of the wall.
